HOTELES SANTOS has chosen the 30th edition of FITUR to introduce visitors to the trade fair to its first hotel in Barcelona, Santos Porta Fira, to open in February, and also to offer all the latest information and news on its 10 other hotels.
The new hotel, designed by the architect Toyo Ito, has 24 floors and is 110 metres high. Built in a unique shape, the red, asymmetrical rounded tower was inspired by the lotus flower.
The Hotel Santos Porta Fira will have a heliport, and 320 rooms and suites equipped with the latest technology, a wellness center, open plan areas, a fully-equipped business center, meeting rooms and numerous landscaped areas.
Visitors to the HOTELES SANTOS stand will also find information about all the services and news from the other hotels in the chain in Baqueira, Granada, Madrid, Murcia, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Valencia and Zaragoza. The hotels are marked by the company’s commitment to the environment. They are all equipped with solar panels for hot water production, light sensors and automation systems for energy saving, as well as a waste classification system.
HOTELES SANTOS facilities have rooms accessible to disabled people. Their services to the disabled have led to two hotels of the chain, Sandemar de Santander and Saray de Granada, being selected for the Guía de los 100 Alojamientos Turísticos Accesibles.
Hall 10, Stand 10G06.
